Personal protective equipment

We can provide PPE to candidates onsite, and you are welcome to bring your own to a client site as long as it approved by the employer.

How does your onboarding process work?

We utilize the online onboarding company Paycom to ensure employment onboarding is as simple and straightforward as possible. Once an offer of employment is accepted, a link will be emailed with instructions to complete onboarding

What do I need to bring or prepare for the assessment?

Any skills and assessments needed to be taken to be considered for a position can be found here, and instructions on how to best complete them are included.

I’ve missed the deadline for a role, will you be releasing any more positions in the future?

Since we specialize in certain industries, we get a lot of similar roles for different clients, if you missed the deadline, we encourage you to still apply!

How long until I hear back about my job application?

Typically Within 24 business you will hear back from a representative after applying for a job or completing your skills assessment.

Do you have Remote jobs?

We do offer Remote positions, as well as hybrid roles that are remote now, and will be returning to an in office when deemed safe to return.

When do I get paid/first payroll?

o Payroll is processed each week beginning Monday and paid on that Friday. Example – If you start on the 1st of the month, your timesheet is turned in by the 7th, payment on the 12th. Timesheets are due Fridays – unless you work weekends, then after your last shift. o We suggest direct deposit, hard checks are mailed USPS

how to complete the I-9 Section II

  • INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOU:
  • 1. Determine who your Authorized Representative will be. (Anyone over the age of 18, who has a different last name, that you are comfortable with verifying your documents)
  • 2. Give your Authorized Representative this form along with your forms of Identification and the I9 section 2 document.
  • 3. The Authorized Representative is verifying that the documents you list on the I9 form are correct and verifying your identity.
  • 4. These forms can be completed electronically by clicking on the highlighted fields.
  • INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE:
  • On behalf of Canon Recruiting Group LLC, we are asking you to act as an Authorized Representative for the new hire by completing the I9 Section 2 Form. Per the Department of Homeland Security, Canon must verify that each person hired is authorized to work in the United States.
  • 1. Examine the forms of Identification presented on the I9 Form.
  • 2. Sign and fill the Authorized Representative Form (Page 1)
  • 3. Complete the I 9 Section 2 form with the employee’s forms of ID in the proper sections and your signature at the bottom of
  • Section 2. (DO NOT SIGN SECTION 3, see example provided)
  • 4. Click complete and Canon Recruiting HR will automatically be notified upon completion.

How Can I access my paystubs?

  • You can view your weekly paystubs at any time

    1.    Log into www.paycomonilne.com

    2.    Click on PAYROLL

    3.    Click on VIEW PAY STUBS

    4.    You can print, screenshot, or download from there by clicking on the pay week needed. 

Changing Contact Information with Canon

  • You can change your contact information at any time.

    1.    Log into www.paycomonline.com

    2.    Click on INFORMATION

    3.    Click on ADDRESS AND CONTACT INFORMATION

    4.    You can adjust your address, phone number, email address, and any other information you may need adjusted.

    5.    If assistance is needed, please contact hr@canonrecruiting.com

Changing Banking Information with Canon

    • You can change your Direct Deposit Banking Information at any time.

    1.    Log into www.paycomonline.com

    2.    Click on PAYROLL

    3.    Click on DIRECT DEPOSIT

    4.    You can adjust distributions, banking names, checking or savings accounts, routing numbers, or banking account numbers.

I need to Change my banking info/tax info/contact info or I moved :

Timesheets

  • Timesheets need to be submitted for approval to your manager by Sunday at Midnight. If you cannot, or unable to enter in your time, Please contact our Payroll Department at  Payroll@canonrecruiting.com, or call or text us at 6612527400.
  • Each assignment time entry method varies, please reach out to payroll@canonrecruiting.com if you are unsure on how to enter your hours.
  • If you need a Timesheet to fill out Please fill out timesheets@CanonRecruiting.com

When are w2 mailed out/available?

1.   Log into www.paycomonline.com

2.   Click on PAYROLL

3.   Click YEAR-END TAX FORMS

4.   Click VIEW

5.   And you can download, screenshot, or print form there!

-Hard copies are mailed out to the address on file in Paycom by January 31 each year. Please be sure to update your address, even after your assignment, to ensure your W2 is mailed to the proper location.

How do I reset my Paycom password ?

Please text Paycom password Reset to 6612527400 or Email Human Resources at HR@canonrecruiting.com to have your paycom password reset

How to Request Time Off?

Submit a written request to Timeoff@CanonRecruiting.com requesting unpaid time off. Request Must received at least two (2) weeks prior to your proposed time off request. Extended Vacations must be approved by an employee’ supervisor on the client site. Although every reasonable effort will be. made to accommodate an employee’s request to take vacation at a specific time, the needs of the Client will be considered when evaluating vacation requests.

Do I get Paid Vacation?

Temporary employees are ineligible to earn or approve any vacation benefits. Any hours not worked due to vacation would be unpaid.

Do I get Paid holidays?

Temporary employees are not eligible for holiday pay. If a Temporary employee works on a holiday, hours are paid at standard time plus any overtime worked.

I think I have been exposed to Covid, what to do?

  • If you have been exposed to COVID-19, Experiencing COVID-19 Symptoms, or Have been confirmed positive with COVID-19:
    • According to the CDC, close contact is coming 6 feet of someone who has COVID-19 for a total of 15 minutes or more. If you have been exposed to COVID-19 please refer to the below link and follow strict CDC guidelines.

Steps to take for all workers:

1.         Notify hr@canonrecruiting.com immediately of your exposure date.

2.         Human Resources will issue you a COVID Screening Questionnaire to be completed, by you, as soon as possible through www.paycomonline.com . (Human Resources will be automatically notified upon completion).

3.         After receiving the completed COVID Questionnaire, Human Resources will update you on return-to-work protocol and the next steps to take.

IF ONSITE: Do not return to work until you are cleared by Canon Recruiting to return and follow the above steps.

IF WORKING REMOTE: You can work if you are physically able to perform your normal daily work tasks. Please follow the above steps if exposed, experiencing COVID-19 Symptoms, or have a confirmed positive COVID-19 test.
